The Wheaton College baseball team earned its first win in the 2012 College Baseball World Series on Friday, as they defeated Webster University, 3-2. Senior Hal Landers finished the contest with two hits and one run, while junior Sean Ryan and freshman Apolinar De la Cruz each recorded one RBI.

The Lyons will continue their quest toward their first National Championship on Saturday at 5:30PM against either SUNY Cortland or Kean University.
