Swallow Named Nicols College Men’s Ice Hockey Head Coach

By NoontimeSports.com

As noted by the Nichols College athletics department — on Monday, July 9, Director of Athletics Charlyn Robert announced the hiring of the college’s new men’s ice hockey head coach Kevin Swallow.

Swallow, a 2010 graduate of the University of Maine, spent last season as a full-time assistant coach at Neumann College, where he assisted the Knights to a 15-8-3 record, as well as a No. 15 ranking in the final United States College Hockey Online (USCHO) poll, too.

“Nichols has a very rich tradition and is a program on the upswing. Coach (Lou) Izzi did a great job bringing the program to the next level, and I am excited to continue to build on the foundation he set and take the program to even higher heights,” said Swallow via the college’s press release.
