BEVERLY, Mass. - Junior defensive back Andrew Lawson (Framingham, Mass.) added to his week one accolades by being named a Defensive Player of the Week by the Beyond College Sports Network.

After being named the NEFC Defensive Player of the Week, Lawson received national recognition from BSN for his three-interception game against Framingham State on Saturday.  The junior recorded a pick in the first and two in the fourth quarter, including one for a 50-yard touchdown return, in a 34-7 Gulls season opening victory.
