BRIDGEWATER, MA – On Thursday, Noontime Sports’ Matt Noonan made the trek to Bridgewater State University to chat with head coach Chuck Denune and two of the five senior captains – Justin Cruz and Paul Melicharek – about Friday’s pivotal New England Football Conference tilt against Framingham State.
The Bears enter the contest with a 3-0 record, while Framingham State is 2-1. The Rams heave defeated the Bears the past two seasons, so expect the men sporting the red and white to have a chip on their shoulder.
Friday’s contest also marks the first time both teams will play a Bogan Division game.
