CAMBRIDGE, MA – On Tuesday evening, Noontime Sports made the trek to MIT to not only catch up with the Engineers football team, but also find out how they were able to defeat Salve Regina.

Last Friday, the Engineers upset the top squad in New England with a 20-19 victory in the rain. Justin Wallace scored the game-winning score on a five-yard touchdown run before Jake Laux sealed the victory with an interception on the ensuing possession.

MIT is 4-3 overall and 3-2 in the New England Football Conference, and will return to the gridiron on Saturday when they travel to Nichols College for a 2:30PM kickoff.
