Mass. College Football: New Haven Rallies To Beat Stonehill (LINKS)

On Thursday evening, Stonehill College played host to No. 3 New Haven in a Northeast-10 Conference football contest, which was televised on the CBS Sports Network. It was the first time the NE-10 has been featured on national television, but the Chargers and Skyhawks put on a show for the audience at home, as both squads combined for 86 points in four quarters.

The Chargers rallied to defeat the Skyhawks during the final seven minutes, as Jason Thompson connected with Ryan Osiecki twice to earn their seventh win of the season.

BC-Army Football Kick-Off Scheduled For Oct. 6 at 12pm

According to sources, as well as the Boston College Athletic Department — Army and BC will meet for the 37th time on the gridiron this fall when the Eagles travel to West Point, New York to face the Black Knights on Saturday, Oct. 6 at 12pm. The game will be televised on CBS Sports Network.

BC has won 24 of the 36 meetings, which included a 37-17 victory on Sept. 22, 2007, at Alumni Stadium in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts. The Eagles will enter the contest on a five-game winning streak against the Black Knights, too.
