It’s “Tebow Week” here in Boston, and that means Mr. Tim Tebow is headed to Gillette Stadium on Saturday evening to face the future hall of famer, Tom Brady, as well as his New England Patriot counterparts, too.
However, while many Americans have begun the countdown for this highly anticipated regular season rematch, a Patriots season ticket holder announced on Monday that they’re not even concerned about this matchup because they’re confident that New England will beat Denver, and advance to the AFC Championship game.
“It’s going to be a cakewalk,” said the anonymous fan. “This is what we wanted, and I believe we’re going to the AFC Championship, and then the Super Bowl.”
Hmm … that sounds like a bold prediction, eh?
“Tim Tebow doesn’t scare me. He’s a talented athlete, and someone I have enjoyed watching this season, but seriously, do you think New England is going to lose to him? I doubt it,” said the fan with a big smile.
Denver and New England faced off in Colorado literally a month ago, yet despite scoring on two back-to-back drives and putting many New Englanders at ease, the Patriots recovered from their lackluster start, and would up winning the game, 41-23.
“When we played them last month, I was worries, especially because Tebow and the Broncos were on fire, but again, after what our defense did against Denver in that game, I’m confident we’ll win,” said the fan.
Well, I guess we’ll have to wait until Saturday evening to know if this particular fan is indeed correct.
