Noontime Sports favorite baseball guru, Kevin Tuve, joined Noontime Sports the Podcast to recap the past weekend for the Pittsfield Colonials, as well as preview their final regular season games.
“This team has come a long way through adversity, fighting off demons from last season I guess you could say with New Hampshire … this team has really put things together, it’s not over yet and nothing’s lock yet. They’ve been very interesting to watch and when they get the starting pitching, I think that they can play with almost anybody left,” said Tuve.
The Colonials currently are in 3rd place with a six games remaining in the 2010 CanAm League season.
With the NFL season vastly approaching and opening night nearly a week away, Noontime Sports has decided to list their 10 marquee matchups to watch this season.
1.) Minnesota Vikings at New Orleans Saints/Week 1 – The rematch is on! While it has been a few months since Viking quarterback Brett Favre threw the game and season away, he will have a chance to salvage their NFC Championship loss, but really, does he and his teammates stand a chance against the defending Super Bowl champs?
Kevin Tuve made his weekly appearance on Noontime Sports the Podcast to discuss the past week of Pittsfield Colonials baseball. The Colonials finished their seven game home stand with a record of 4-3, sweeping the Sussex Skyhawks and taking one of four from the Brockton Rox.
Also Tuve discussed the upcoming road trip for the team, as well as if they can finish the season as a playoff squad.
Chris Torresand Quentin Davis of the Pittsfield Colonials joined Noontime Sports the Podcast to discuss the current month of August, as well as the team’s up and down performance. In the month of August the Colonials have struggled greatly and at historic Wahconah Park this month they are 4-6.
