Headlines:

* Yet again, Brett Favre and the Minnesota Vikings look pathetic, but after losing to the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, where does QB4 and the “Purple People” stand in the NFL now?

* Auburn is now number one in the BCS, but is the system still flawed?

* The Oakland Raiders routed the Denver Broncos on Sunday, 59-14 and running back Darren McFadden recorded four touchdowns in the victory.

* The New England Patriots barely defeated the San Diego Chargers, 23-20. The Patriots advance to [5-1] and Chargers fall to [2-5].

* Cliff Lee made sure to get his rest on Sunday, as well as threw a bullpen session and took batting practice.

* The Miami Heat have yet again added another veteran star, Jerry Stackhouse.

Shaquille O’Neal is having fun in Boston, Massachusetts and has come up with a new exciting Halloween plan.
