* Detroit Pistons “big man,” Ben Wallace is planning to earn a degree in law following his final days in the NBA.

* The Portland Trailblazers have learned about some bad news, which is that center Greg Oden will be sidelined for the remainder of the season.

* The Minnesota Vikings will worry about their new stadium situation in 2011.

* The McCourt divorce case will have a say on Friday about splitting up the L.A. Dodgers.

* MLB commissioner Bud Selig continues to admit that baseball is living its “Golden Age.
