* Former New York Giant, Lawrence Taylor is seeking a dismissal from his rape case.

* Following the Patriots monday win against the their rival, the Jets, this particular win could pose as a possible season breakdown for “Gang Green.”

* L.A. Lakers guard, Kobe Bryant, will have his high school gymnasium named after him.

* The NHL Winter Classic is still a few weeks away, but HBO is getting everyone excited for the Pittsburgh Penguins vs. Washington Capitals.

* Could the San Diego Chargers be the team to move to Los Angles? It is certainly possible.

* Cam Newton of Auburn, still remains in the running for the Heisman Trophy, but will he be the one to win it?
