* The New York Jets and head coach Rex Ryan made sure to put their Monday night game to rest, by burying the game ball.

* University of Florida football coach, Urban Meyer has decided to step down and spend time with his family.

* LeBron James has apparently taken his talents to South Beach, but also, has bought a gigantic house too.

* NFL commissioner Roger Goodell now has an important choice to make in regards to Brett Favre‘s off the field antics.

* Philadelphia Eagles quarterback, Michael Vick is currently the leader the NFL Pro Bowl for voting.

* The San Jose Sharks needed a rally in Philadelphia on Wednesday, which they got and were able to defeat the Flyers in a shootout.

* Duke Blue Devils head coach Mike Kryzewski earned his 877th career win.
