Boston, MA – 10,422 Boston Blazers (2-2) fans flooded the TD Garden on Saturday to watch the Rochester Knighthawks (2-1) earn an important regular season overtime victory, 11-10.

The Blazers began the game by allowing three quick goals to the Knighthawks, a team not normally known for their speed or agility, yet, it was totally on display.

The Blazers displayed signs of frustration and launched multiple wild shots that didn’t even come close to the back of the opposing teams net.

In the second period, fans watched the 2010 NLL MVP, Casey Powell rally the Blazers to tie the score, 5-5 and set up an exciting third quarter.

Despite trailing once again during the third quarter, both Powell and teammate, Nick Cotter, would lead yet another comeback that was unsuccessful and eventually it resulted in a loss for the Blazers in overtime.

With their second overtime loss in 2011, the Blazers will look to rebound on Friday (January 28, 2011), when they host the Philadelphia Wings (1-2) at the TD Garden for a 7:30pm face-off.
