Boston Bruins Begin Second Half on a good note, beat Carolina, 3-2

The Boston Bruins defeated the Carolina Hurricanes on Tuesday, 3-2, as well as began the second half of their NHL regular season.

Daniel Paille scored the first points for the Bruins, as well as recorded his first goal of the season too when he pushed the puck passed Hurricane goaltender, Cam Ward.

Boston would respond with two goals during the third period, as both Nathan Horton and Patrice Bergeron helped the Bruins clinch their 29th victory of the season.

Tim Thomas stopped 24 shots in net, as well as remains currently tied in the league with 25-wins.

The Bruins return home on Thursday to the TD Garden and host the Dallas Star (30-15-5) at 7:00pm eastern.
