* The Philadelphia Flyers ended up outlasting the Tampa Bay Lightning on Tuesday, as they won in seventh round of shootouts, 4-3.

* The Miami Heat beat the Indiana Pacers on Tuesday, surprise surprise, but what was so special about this particular contest? Dwyane Wade throwing a 90-foot ally-oop pass to LeBron James.

* Pat Williams who is the Orlando Magic executive, as been diagnosed with Blood and Bone Marrow Cancer.

* New York Yankees pitcher CC Sabathai has indeed reported to camp, but also has lost 25-pounds.

* Good news for Indianapolis Colts fans, quarterback Peyton Manning received the franchise tag Tuesday, which only means that a new contract for the “gun-slinger” is on the way.

* Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick received good news on Tuesday about the franchise tag, which made him rather pleased.
