Good luck to Baron Davis!

Top of the morning to everyone and welcome into yet another Daily Noontime! It is Thursday, which means that yet another weekend is upon us, but in the meantime, here are your daily headlines, news and video of the day!

* Good luck to Baron Davis, who was traded from the Los Angles Clippers to Cleveland in exchange for Mo Williams and Jamario Moon.

* It appears that the NBA All-Star Game on TNT was a hit and certainly well liked according to multiple ratings.

* According to an interesting news source, the NBA is going to take a page out of the college game and try to use the horn to make the games go faster.

* The Anaheim Angles clearly are taking a shot at Loek van Mil, who is 7-foot, 1-inch and should be a good addition to their pitching rotation.

* Good news for New York Knicks fans or should we say, Carmelo Anthony followers!” Anthony led the Knicks with 27-points in his debut at Madison Square Garden.

* Cleveland Browns president Mike Holmgren has made it clear that quarterback Colt McCoy is the teams “Home-Run Hitter.”

* The NHL continues to grow more and more, especially since their “dark days” of the lockout, but apparently the league is doing quite well in “Sun Belt” markets.

Games to Watch:

* Dallas at Detroit (NHL) – 7:30pm eastern

* Miami at Chicago (NBA) – 8:00pm eastern

* Boston at Denver (NBA) – 10:30pm eastern
