* Former Boston College linebacker Mark Herzlich may have not been drafted by a NFL team, but instead a UFL squad.

* It’s official, Chicago Bulls guard Derrick Rose has officially won the NBA’s MVP award, which we all knew would happen, right?

* The Sacramento Kings will stay put, but now they need a new arena. Yet, will that happen? We’ll see!

* According to reports, Tom Brady is making progress after his foot surgery, which is good news for Patriots fans.

* Apparently the Los Angles Dodgers will be giving away free tickets to their home games to the U.S. Military for the entire month of May.

* Speaking of Los Angles, the Lakers lost Game 1 to the Dallas Mavericks on Monday and now are staring at 1-0 series deficit.

* The Boston Bruins won yet another overtime classic against the Philadelphia Flyers and currently lead the series, 2-0.

Usually when Lauren Hart sings “God Bless America” in Philadelphia, the Flyers win, but not on Monday, as the Bruins won, 3-2 in overtime. Philadelphia may need to find a new singer or tradition now!
