* According to various sources, Tony Parker believes that San Antonio’s championship window has closed and that the team won’t be competing for anymore rings, which is rather interesting, right?

* The NBA Western Conference Finals between the Dallas Mavericks and Oklahoma City Thunder is officially tied, 1-1.

* Apparently Minnesota Vikings defensive end Ray Edwards is planning to use his time during the lockout to box, so obviously football is not on his mind these days.

* There is a slight possibility that the NHL could see the Winnipeg Jets return next year, but again, it’s not certain.

* Sad news struck the NCAA on Thursday, as they learned about the death of Austin Box, who was a linebacker for the Oklahoma Sooners.

* The Boston Red Sox made a few moves on Thursday evening, as they acquired Franklin Morales and Kevin Millwood to join their pitching rotation.
