Happy Flag Day!

Happy Flag Day everyone! Welcome to today’s Daily Noontime for Tuesday June 14, 2011. Enjoy the day, but also, here’s some headlines and news!

* Yet again, the Bruins defied the odds and forced a Game 7 against the Vancouver Canucks. Although, who got Monday’s party started? The answer… Brad Marchand.

* Bruins goaltender Tim Thomas played another fantastic game between the pipes, as he saved 36-shots and denied the Canucks a Game 6 win at the TD Garden.

* After three bad games in Boston, it seems that the Canucks goaltender, Roberto Luongo doesn’t like the TD Garden.

* It still is somewhat shocking, but the Dallas Mavericks indeed won the NBA Finals in six games against the Miami Heat.

* Believe it or not, the MLB is in the process of making some moves, which would possibly send the Houston Astros to the American League.

* There might actually be some good news from the NFL these days, as owners have asked to keep their schedules open for the next two weeks.
