* According to a recent report, the Philadelphia Eagles could become the BEST team in the NFL once the lockout ends.

* Good news for U.S. soccer fans, the Americans beat Jamaica on Sunday to advance further in the Gold Cup tournament.

* Former New York Jets and Miami Dolphins quarterback Chad Pennington has decided to take a year off from football for the broadcast booth.
