Could the NFL Lockout be coming to a close soon?

It’s Friday, Friday, getting down on… Whoops! Didn’t mean to sing that particular song! Anyways, it’s Friday, July 1, 2011 and yes, here’s the Daily Noontime, so enjoy, as well as Happy 4th of July Weekend too! 

Headlines: 

* The defending Super Bowl champions, Green Bay Packers aren’t concerned about missing practice time during the lockout. In fact, their leader, quarterback Aaron Rodgers is confident the team will be fine and ready for the 2011 season.

* According to sources, it sounds like July 10 will be a date that the NFL could bring their lockout to a close.

* It’s official, Day 1 of the NBA lockout has begun, but really, we saw this coming, right?

* More issues continue to develop in regards to the great Frank McCourt and his Los Angles Dodgers.

* The NHL free agency begins on Friday and yes, Jaromir Jagr appears ready to join the Pittsburgh Penguins.

* What would do if you saw LeBron James play baseball? Hey, didn’t Michael Jordan play baseball too?
