* David Ortiz and the Boston Red Sox beat the Texas Rangers on Wednesday, as well as climbed back into first place in the American League East.

* After Saturday’s brawl between Oakland Raiders and San Francisco 49ers fans, it seems the best seat in the house is on the couch.

* According to the great Woody Paige‘s mailbag column, he believes that Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow will be a member of the Denver Broncos in 2012.

* Despite their loss to the Oakland Athletics on Wednesday, the New York Yankees are focused on their bullpen, as well as the “bigger picture” too.

* Well, here’s some interesting news… the NBA and Union are planning to hold a “rare bargaining session” in New York next week.

* Boston Bruins goaltender, Tim Thomas, finally shared the stanley cup trophy with his friends and family in Detroit on Wednesday and yes, it was a blast.
