Consider Detroit's fourth win against Dallas lucky!

Happy Monday and also, welcome to the first official October work week! It’s going to be yet another awesome week, so let’s kick it off with some stories, news and headlines! 


* The Detroit Lions earned their fourth win of the season on Sunday, as they rallied to keep their unbeaten streak alive against Tony Romo and the Dallas Cowboys.

* Besides the Lions, the San Francisco 49ers also stunned their opponent, as they came back to defeat the Philadelphia Eagles in Pennsylvania, 24-23.

* Against the Oakland Raiders, New England Patriots linebacker Jerod Mayo sprained his MCL and will most likely miss six weeks of the current season.

* In case you haven’t been following the MLB postseason – the Milwaukee Brewers won their second game of the series on Sunday and now lead the Arizona Diamondbacks, 2-0.

* The Baltimore Ravens flexed their muscles on Sunday, as they beat-up the New York “Football” Jets, 34-17.

* The Houston Texans roughed up Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger on Sunday, as well as earned their third victory of the season.
