* The New York Jets ended a three-game losing streak on Monday Night Football against the Miami Dolphins, 24-6.

* After losing to the Jets on Monday, the Dolphins are now [0-5] and certainly on par to lose their remaining 11-games.

* Good news – Jim Harbaugh and Jim Schwartz won’t be fined by the NFL for their altercation on Sunday after the 49ers-Lions game.

* According to an interest report by the Boston Herald’s John Tomase, he explains why the Boston Red Sox need to re-sign David Ortiz.

* According to reports, the city of St. Louis has been preparing for the World Series for the past week.

* For some reason, running back Matt Forte believes that if the Chicago Bears won’t pay him then another squad will do it.
