* The Texas Rangers evened the series on Thursday, as they rallied to beat the St. Louis Cardinals in Game 2 of the World Series, 2-1.

* According to reports, the Buffalo Bills and quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick are close to a new contract, which should make fans quite content, right?

* Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo apparently has recently defended his head coach Jason Garrett for his fourth quarter decision to run the ball against the New England Patriots.

* The NBA Labor talks broke off Thursday evening and according to the New York Times, as well as other reports, the league could be headed toward erasing all November games this season.

* Good news San Diego Charger fans –  New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan apologized for his comments about the squad from sunny California.

* Accord to reports on Thursday, Detroit Lions running back Jerome Harrison has a brain tumor, which isn’t good news.
