* For the first time this season, the New England Patriots dropped their second game in a row, as the New York Giants rallied to win, 24-20.

* After beating the Patriots, various Giants players appeared to be fired up.

* Sources have confirmed on Monday morning that Penn State head coach Joe Paterno discovered that his former defensive assistant Jerry Sandusky was charged with sexually assaulting eight boys.

* After an exciting contest against LSU on Saturday, which resulted in a loss, the Alabama Roll Tide dropped to the No. 3 spot in the Bowl Championship Series rankings.

* Apparently Sports Illustrated and other sources have confirmed that Missouri will officially join the SEC Conference in 2012.

* The Baltimore Ravens picked up an enormous win on Sunday, as they beat the Pittsburgh Steelers for the second time this season, 23-20.
