Worcester City Tournament: Clark 59, WPI 53

WORCESTER, MA — The Clark University women’s basketball team captured their 20th Worcester City Women’s Basketball Tournament on Saturday with a 59-53 victory against WPI.

The Cougars were led by Emily Reilly, who led all scorers with 24 points. She also had eight rebounds, one assist and one steal, while Brooke Brennan tallied 15 points and five rebounds.

Dani Davis paced the Engineers with 18 points and also recorded nine rebounds, four assists, four steals and three blocks. Kelly Morgan chipped in 15 points and Siena Mamayek led all players with 12 rebounds.

Clark outscored WPI in both halves, as well as made 18-of-23 free throws. The Engineers tallied 49 rebounds, 12 assists and eight steals, while the Cougars finished the game with 46 rebounds, nine steals and three blocks.
