Mass. College Hoops: Locals Produce For Holy Cross, Northeastern On Friday

A few local players for Holy Cross and Northeastern University were instrumental in their team’s wins on Friday, and below are their highlights:

* In her first game of the season, Norfolk’s Amy Lepley finished 7-of-7 from the field for 16 points in the Crusaders, 68-66 win against Bryant University.

* Needham’s Christine Ganser added nine points in the Crusaders’ fifth win, as well as one trifecta, four rebounds and one block. Springfield’s Brisje Malone ended with 15 points, five assists and three steals.

* The former Brimmer and May School postgrad Marco Banegas-Flores registered one rebound and one assist in a span of three minutes during Northeastern University’s, 82-63 win against Central Connecticut.
