The college lacrosse season has officially begun, but some teams are just a few weeks away from beginning their campaigns. Below are links to various conferences, which have released their preseason predictions.
* Last Monday, the Northeast-10 Conference unveiled their preseason predictions and Le Moyne was selected as the team to finish the season in first place. Merrimack College was picked second, Bentley University was predicted to finish fifth and Assumption College was projected to end their season in 11th place.
* Earlier today, the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) unveiled its preseason rankings and Western New England College was projected to claim the conference crown. Endicott College was predicted to finish second, Gordon College was selected fourth, Curry College was slated to finish sixth, Nichols College seventh and Wentworth Institute of Technology ninth.
* Similar to the men’s NE-10 Conference, Le Moyne is expected to finish atop the women’s standings once the final day of the regular season concludes. However, after them comes Stonehill College in third, Bentley in fifth, Merrimack in sixth, and Assumption in ninth and American International College (AIC) in 12th.
