The North Shore Navigators and Pittsfield Suns concluded the first weekend of Futures Collegiate Baseball League (FCBL) play with undefeated marks.

The Navigators defeated the Dirt Dawgs and Titans, while the Suns swept both squads by a combined score of 23-0.

Pittsfield’s Ryan Deitrich, who is tied for second in the league with five RBIs, recorded four RBIs on Sunday against the Dirt Dawgs, which included his first home run.

Joe Gruntkosky pitched six solid innings for the Navigators on Sunday, and yielded seven hits with two strikeouts.

Other Notes:

* Wheaton College’s Nick Filloramo currently leads all pitchers with nine strikeouts. Against the Titans, the Rochester (MA) native pitched five innings and fanned nine batters against the Titans.

* UMass Boston’s Jamill Moquette currently leads all batters with two home runs. He hit one long ball in Wachusett’s first two games against the Sharks and Titans, but didn’t record a home run on Saturday or Sunday.
