Mass. College Football: BC Falls To Syracuse, 34-31

Syracuse quarterback Terrel Hunt tossed two touchdowns passes, including the game-winner to Josh Parris with six seconds remaining in regulation, as the Orangemen beat Boston College, 34-31.
Boston College, which entered the game on a four-game winning streak saw their run conclude.
Andre Williams, who rushed for 29 yards and one touchdown, did sustain an injury and did not return. He finished the game watching his team from the sidelines.
Quarterback Chase Rettig tossed two touchdowns and completed 12 of 20 passes for 168 yards, as well as rushed for 85 yards and one score.
BC’s Nate Freese kicked a 21-yard field goal with 2:08 remaining in the fourth quarter, which provided the visitors with a 31-27 lead. However, their advantage was quickly erased when Hunt capped Syracuse’s final drive with a touchdown strike.
With the win, Syracuse concludes its regular season slate 6-6 overall and 4-4 in the ACC, while Boston College falls to 7-5 and 4-4.
Both teams are bowl eligible and will compete once more this season in a few weeks.
