Mass. College Hockey: UMB Women’s Captures First Codfish Bowl Championship (VIDEO)


The UMass Boston women’s ice hockey team captured its first Codfish Bowl championship on Friday as they defeated Connecticut College, 2-0.

Samantha Fallon and Jess Salisbury each potted one goal, while Casey Schaejbe deflected 29 shots between the pipes.

With the win, the Beacons improve to 5-6-2 overall. They’ll return to the ice when they host University of St. Thomas (Minn.) for a 6 p.m. face-off. Below are highlights of yesterday’s match with the Camels, courtesy of the Beacons’ YouTube Channel.
