Mass. College Hockey: UMass Boston Tops SUNY Canton In Codfish Bowl Semis (VIDEO)


Returning to the ice for the first time since December, the UMass Boston women’s ice hockey team commenced the new year with an impressive 4-1 victory in the Codfish Semifinals against SUNY Canton.

Kayla Smith registered three points (career-high) on one goal and two assists, while Moe Bradley turned away 20 of 21 shots.

The Beacons will look to capture their second consecutive Codfish Bowl title tomorrow when they skate against Stevenson at 4 p.m.
