It’s been an exciting season for the UMass Dartmouth men’s basketball team.

Earlier this month, the Corsairs provided head coach Brian Baptiste with his 600th win by defeating Bridgewater State, 77-71.

Two days later, they handed Keene State it’s first Little East Conference (LEC) setback of the season – the Owls defeated the Corsairs in last year’s conference championship game en route to the NCAA Tournament. The game also featured senior Jon Robinson netting a career-high 23 points, too.

10 days after their impressive win over Keene State – last night, to be exact – UMass Dartmouth scored a dramatic 72-70 win over MIT, which featured a buzzer-beating three-pointer from Chris Mendes.

ESPN’s SportsCenter featured the game-winning trifecta – HOP HERE to watch (and hear the game-winning call by John Cabral).

The Corsairs return to action at the end of the month when they take on Connecticut College on Friday, December 30th at the 2016 Springfield College Tournament.
