New England D3 Teams Set To Compete In Coaches Vs. Cancer 3-Point Challenge

Starting today – Wednesday, February 1, 2017 – seven New England Division III basketball teams will be squaring off from beyond the arc in the Coaches vs. Cancer 3-Point Challenge.
The Coaches vs. Cancer 3-Point Challenge is a nationwide program, featuring college and high school basketball teams from all over the country.
As noted on the Coaches vs. Cancer website, fans are encouraged to pledge a donation for each trifecta made by their favorite team throughout the month with all proceeds supporting the American Cancer Society.
According to Pledge It (PledeIt.org), 12 Division III men’s basketball teams will be competing in this year’s Coaches vs. Cancer 3-Point Challenge, including six Massachusetts squads.
The six teams from Massachusetts are the following:
- Amherst College
- Babson College
- Bridgewater State
- Regis College
Additionally, the Green Mountain College women’s basketball team will be participating in the challenge, too. They will be representing the North Atlantic Conference (NAC).
