A season-sweep of Salem State helped Fitchburg State leapfrog the Vikings into the top spot of the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) standings with one game remaining.

Fitchburg State, which has won 9 of 11 conference clashes this season, concludes its regular season slate Saturday when they host Framingham State. Earlier this season, the Falcons defeated the Rams in overtime by a score of 78-69.
