Bridgewater State at Framingham State (WLAX) at 10 a.m. – This is a BIG one for the Rams, who enter this morning’s clash riding an eight game winning streak. Sure, I picked the Bears of Bridgewater State to ultimately win the regular season crown, but a win for Framingham State will make the race for the top seed in the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) quite interesting! Framingham State 10, Bridgewater State 9
Tufts University at Wesleyan University (WLAX) at 12 p.m. – The Jumbos are the team to watch in the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) down the stretch – they enter today’s tilt with the Cardinals riding a four-game winning streak. A win over Wesleyan would be a huge step forward for Tufts as they attempt to chase Middlebury College for the top spot in the conference. Tufts 10, Wesleyan 7
Springfield College at Coast Guard Academy (WLAX) at 12 p.m. – The Bears will look to bounce back from their recent setback to Kean, while Springfield will look to pick-up an important conference road win. This is a good test for Coast Guard Academy, which has captured a pair of New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) contests. Springfield 16, Coast Guard 7
Williams College at Amherst College (MLAX) at 1 p.m. – Both teams will look to rebound from mid-week setbacks, but I think the Mammoths will find a way to sneak past the Ephs late in the fourth quarter. Amherst 12, Williams 10
Wesleyan University at Tufts University (MLAX) at 1 p.m. – The Cardinals rallied to beat the Mammoths of Amherst earlier this week, but can they work their late-game magic against a well-rounded Tufts team? Wesleyan 13, Tufts 12 (OT)
Conn. College at Bates College (MLAX) at 1 p.m. – The Bobcats lost a heart-breaker to the Polar Bears earlier this week and certainly need this win, while Conn. College seeks its fifth conference victory. Conn. College 14, Bates 12
Western New England at Endicott College (MLAX) at 1 p.m. – The winner will most likely snatch the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) regular season crown. Both teams enter today’s important CCC clash with respective winning streaks, but I think the Golden Bears have a little more momentum than the Gulls do at this point in the season. WNE 13, Endicott 8
Springfield College at Babson College (MLAX) at 3 p.m. – Both teams enter 1-0 in conference play, but who advances to 2-0? This is a must-win for the Beavers, who will be one of five teams to watch in the New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) down the stretch. Springfield 14, Babson 9
