D3 Lacrosse: Noontime Sports Men’s Lacrosse Top 10 (Monday, April 16th)

By NoontimeSports.com (@NoontimeSports)

It’s Monday, which means it is time for a brand new New England D3 Men’s Lacrosse Top 10 Poll.

Amherst College secured the top spot this week following an impressive win over Tufts University, which dropped one spot to the second position. As of now, the Mammoths and Wesleyan University (third this week!) boast identical conference ledgers, however, the Cardinals rallied to beat Amherst earlier this month, which should make the conference seeding quite interesting!

Coast Guard Academy returned to the top five with a 14-9 win over Merchant Marine this past weekend in West Point, New York. The Bears face a very important test on Wednesday – that would be tomorrow! – when they face-off against Springfield College, which returned to our poll this week after appearing ON THE RISE one week ago.

Babson College becomes our newest member of the poll – the Beavers seem to be riding some serious momentum at the moment since beating Springfield earlier this month.
