D3 Lacrosse: Noontime Sports Women’s Lacrosse Top 10 (Monday, April 23rd)

By NoontimeSports.com (@NoontimeSports)

It’s Monday, which means it is time for a brand new New England D3 Men’s Lacrosse Top 10 Poll.

Amherst College once again remains the top team in New England after a few important wins last week, including a 7-3 victory this past Saturday against Bates College. The Mammoths’ defense has been extremely impressive over the past few weeks, while the offense has provided multiple problems for opposing units. Amherst is averaging close to 14 goals per game.

Middlebury College swapped spots with Tufts University, checking-in second overall this week after appearing in the third position a week ago. The Panthers scored back-to-back wins this weekend over the Jumbos and Hamilton College – they will be the team to watch in the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Tournament, which officially begins on Saturday, April 28th.
