The third week of the 2018-19 Northeast (New England/New York) D3 women’s ice hockey season is in the books, which means it is time to unveil our third poll of the season.
Elmira College remains the top team in our seven-state poll following back-to-back wins over Lebanon Valley College this past weekend. Since defeating Norwich University, which checked-in third overall, the Soaring Eagles have appeared unstoppable in their previous four match-ups.
Elmira will enjoy a short break before returning to the ice after Thanksgiving when they face Middlebury College on Saturday, November 24th. Middlebury, which secured the fourth position, will begin its season this Friday, November 16th when they visit Trinity College, which is one of our six teams on the rise this week.
Also joining our poll this week is Oswego State, which has enjoyed a successful start to their 2018-19 season with four wins. The Lakers face Cortland this weekend, including Friday for Pink the Rink.
