By NoontimeSports.com | @NoontimeSports & @Noontime_FB

Another season of New England D3 football has concluded with Framingham State securing the top spot in our final Noontime Sports Top 10 Poll.

The Rams, who captured the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) crown, returned to the postseason for the first time in three years where they provided a slew of challenges to Brockport State. Despite the outcome, the Rams certainly proved they have what it takes to compete with one of the best teams in New York D3 Football and should be back in the same position next fall.

Trinity College and MIT rounded out the top three spots, while Western New England and Amherst College secured the fourth and fifth positions, respectively. MIT made its second appearance in the NCAA Tournament in four seasons after capturing its initial New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) crown.

The Bantams of Trinity captured their third-straight New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) crown with back-to-back wins over Amherst and Wesleyan University.
