A few New England D3 women’s basketball games have been recorded, which means it is time to unveil our second poll of the season, which finds Amherst College in the top spot followed by Bowdoin College and Tufts University.

Amherst, Bowdoin and Tufts enjoyed successful starts to their respective campaigns, while St. Joseph’s (Maine) and MIT have earned some early-season momentum with some important November victories. The Engineers travel to Bowdoin on Sunday for an important non-conference clash before hosting Babson College (on the rise) four days later.

Connecticut College earned a pair of impressive wins over University of New England (on the rise) and WPI (on the rise) to begin its season 2-0. The Camels will certainly be a team to watch this year under first-year coach Jackie Smith.
