By NoontimeSports.com | @NoontimeSports & @NoontimePuck

The fifth week of the New England D3 Hockey season has officially concluded, which means it is time for us to dish out our latest Men’s Top 10 Poll!

Trinity College remained our top team for the second-straight week after scoring a pair of post-Thanksgiving Day wins over Aurora and St. Anselm‘s. Their seven-goal victory over the Hawks was their biggest win of the season, which included a two-goal performance from Andy Chugg.

This week, the Bantams will host tenth-ranked Hamilton College, which made its initial appearance on our poll, followed Amherst College, which is one of four teams ‘on the rise.’

Salve Regina and University of New England continue to be the second and third best teams in the region, while Plymouth State moved-up following back-to-back wins over Castleton University and Salem State. The Panthers return to the ice on Thursday when they host Framingham State for the Teddy Bear Toss (fans attending the game are encouraged to bring a teddy bear or stuffed animal and throw them on the ice following the home team’s initial goal. The toys will be collected after the goal is recorded and will be donated to the Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth (CHaD)).
