Noontime Sports New England D3 Women’s Basketball Top 10 (Dec. 10th)

By | @NoontimeSports & @Noontime_Hoops

Another week of New England D3 women’s basketball is in the books, which means it is time to unveil our latest Noontime Sports Top 10, which finds Bowdoin College in the top spot followed by Tufts University and Amherst College for the third consecutive week.

Movers: Trinity College moved into the top five with an impressive win over Connecticut College this past weekend. The Bantams have been a team to watch this month as they have also scored wins over Coast Guard Academy and Stevens. The Blue and Gold return to the hardwood later this month when they face Lehman.

Newcomers: We welcomed Emmanuel College to this week’s poll after scoring some early season (and recent) wins over Connecticut College and Westfield State. Despite falling to MIT, which is on the rise this week, the Saints put fourth an impressive effort in the 72-69 setback. They face Rhode Island College this week before a short break before facing Messiah and Ramapo in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
