It’s been a BUSY few weeks since our unveiling our initial Northeastern Conference (NEC) girl’s ice hockey poll two weeks ago, but now it is time to share our second top-five of the 2018-19 season, which finds Peabody/Lynnfield/North Reading in the top spot followed by Winthrop and Masconomet.

The Tanners moved-up two spots with an impressive 3-2 win over the Vikings on Saturday.

Prior to their one-goal victory over Winthrop, Peabody/Lynnfield/North Reading scored wins against Beverly/Danvers (5-2) and Ursuline Academy (4-3).

Medford/Malden remained the fourth position, while Marblehead continued to occupy the fifth spot.
