Alex Goslin‘s late layup with 10 seconds remaining not only helped Springfield College defeat MIT, but also secure a spot on this week’s New England D3 Women’s Basketball Top 10.

Since falling to Vassar College, the Pride have won three-straight. They will attempt to continue their current momentum this week against both WPI and Babson College (No. 5).

The Beavers also own a winning streak as the Green and White have won 11-straight, including four games this month. Babson is off until Saturday when they visit the Pride in what could be an early preview of a conference semifinal or final.

Trinity College also joined the poll this week, while Bowdoin CollegeAmherst College and Tufts University checked-in first, second and third, respectively, for the second consecutive week.
