Noontime Sports New England D3 Men’s Basketball Top 10 (Feb. 4th)

By | @NoontimeSports & @Noontime_Hoops

We had some movement this week following an exciting few days of New England D3 Hoops.

Once again, MIT remained the top team, while Hamilton College and Nichols College each moved-up, checking in second and third, respectively. The Continentals bounced back from a recent loss to Colby College with back-to-back wins over Bates College and Tufts University. The Blue and Gold will face some tough challenges this week when they travel to Middlebury College on Friday and Williams College on Saturday.

Two Little East Conference (LEC) teams secured spots on this week’s poll, checking-in ninth and tenth, respectively. Keene State secured the ninth position with a current seven-game winning streak, which will be tested this week against both Western Connecticut and Rhode Island College. Eastern Connecticut, which secured the tenth position, will face the Owls next weekend in what could determine the top spot in the conference tournament. The Warriors beat the Owls last month, 79-66.
