By | @NoontimeSports & @Noontime_Hoops

Welcome to the BIG conference tournament week – the road the NCAA Division III Tournament has begun for some teams, but will officially begin for others tomorrow afternoon and evening.

By no surprise, the big three – Bowdoin CollegeAmherst College, and Tufts University – remain our top teams in the New England region, while Saint Joseph’s College (Maine) and Babson College continue to round out the top five positions.

Smith College, which delivered coach Lynn Hersey her 200th win this past Saturday, remains our sixth best team in New England followed by UMass Dartmouth (seventh), Middlebury College (eight) and Emmanuel College (nine).

Eastern Connecticut secured our tenth and final position – the Warriors enter their conference tournament with a lot of momentum and could be a tough out, along with Southern Maine and Rhode Island College.

Keep an eye on our team’s on the rise, including Endicott College, which secured the top spot in their conference tournament, along with Emerson College and Worcester State. Both Emerson and Worcester State could be sleepers in their respective conference postseason tournament.
