It’s time for some playoff football.

The NCAA Division III postseason will kick off Saturday, November 19 with three New England squads set to compete for the ultimate prize: a national championship.

Endicott College and Springfield College will meet in the opening round in Beverly, Massachusetts while UMass Dartmouth will visit Ithaca College.

Both games will commence at 12 p.m. with the winners advancing to the second round.

Endicott and Springfield advanced to the postseason last fall, but neither team advanced past the opening round. The Gulls lost to RPI, 20-14, while the Pride fell to Cortland, 26-21.

All three Massachusetts squads captured their respective conference crown – Endicott and Springfield clinched back-to-back titles while UMass Dartmouth won its first league crown in 20 years.

All three teams have appeared in the regional rankings this fall with Endicott securing the third position after 10 weeks. Springfield checked in fifth in last week’s rankings and UMass Dartmouth secured the sixth position.
