Daily Noontime – December 17, 2010

Happy Friday everyone and lets get this weekend started with a bang, but what kind you ask, well the Daily Noontime, duh! Anyways, here it is, have a fantastic weekend and make sure to get that holiday shopping done too!

* The San Diego Chargers showed that they are for real against a very bad San Francisco 49ers team on Thursday, winning by a score of 34-7.

* How about the Boston Celtics, what a team, right? The Green and White defeated the Atlanta Hawks and advanced their current winning streak to 12-games.

* The Denver Broncos have a new coach and possibly may see a new quarterback on Sunday when they face the Oakland Raiders. Let’s all get ready for Tim Tebow time, wahoo!

* The Minnesota Vikings and Chicago Bears will play outdoors on Monday, but frigid temperatures and a frozen field could be a bad thing.

* The Boston Red Sox made another BIG move again, adding relief pitcher, Bobby Jenks to their bullpen.

* Executive Director for the Bowl Championship Series, Bill Hancock continues to defend his system.

Games to Watch:

* Miami at New York (NBA) – 7:00pm eastern

* Buffalo at Florida (NHL) – 7:30pm eastern

* Utah at New Orleans (NBA) – 8:00pm eastern

* Detroit at Chicago (NHL) – 8:30pm eastern

* Phoenix at Dallas (NBA) – 9:30pm eastern

Video of the Day:

So Tim Tebow could possibly start this weekend against the Oakland Raiders, but if his team loses, will he do what he did with the Gators, pledge to play better?
